The Hozelock Saturn booster can dramatically improve water quality and reduce cleaning of pond filters.
By removing solid particles from the water before it enters an existing pump-fed filter, the Saturn Booster pre-filter can reduce the cleaning of filters by more than 50%, whilst also allowing up to 30% more fish to be stocked in the pond.
Ideal for ponds between 5,000 & 30,000 L (1100 - 6600 Gallons).
Flow rate: 3000 - 8000L / hour (660 - 1760 gallons / hour).
Includes integral backwashing pump (5500L/ hour 110w, 10m cable)
The Saturn Booster is a unique auto cleaning mechanical pre-filter from Hozelock, designed to work with nearly all makes of pond filter.
It will remove most solid debris from the pond water before it can get to the main filter.
This dramatically reduces the need for cleaning the pond filter and boosts its performance since it will not be clogged up with debris. Saturn Booster features:
Dirty water from the pond is pumped into the Saturn Booster and spun around a fine mesh gauze.
Large particles are trapped by the gauze filter as water passes through it.
A rotating jet spray, located inside the filter, constantly cleans the gauze from the inside.
The particles, washed off the gauze by the rotating jet collect at the bottom of the unit.
To remove the waste simply lift a handle on the side and flush it away, without getting wet or dirty hands.
Innovative self-regulating pressure sensitive valves allow the filter to continue operating even in the dirtiest pond environments.
