It is said that you cannot beat a bottom drain system. But If you already have a pond that does not have a bottom drain but wish you had installed one, or if you have a bottom drain and want to install another here is the answer.

This new aerated portable weighted bottom dome that sits on the floor of your pond which requires no digging or intensive labour. Just simply place the self weighted bottom dome in your pond and attach a pipe which can be either 2" rigid pipe work or flexi pipe from either an internal pump or an external pond pump, now just connect to a air pump with either a 4mm or 8mm air line to aerate the perforated membrane on top of the dome and enjoy all the benefits of a aerated bottom drain with minimal expense.

Improves water circulation, helps remove suspended particles and debris from the bottom of your pond reducing maintenance.

This new aerated dome is up to 30% more efficient in pulling the solid waste into the drain compared with the non aerated version.

This item comes complete with a 90 degree bend and a stepped hose tail and 5 mts of air line to fit into a 4mm or 8 mm connector.

This unit will take 2" pipe work direct to the 90 degree bend.

This sieve is a cleverly designed mechanical pre-filter for removal of all solids.

Place prior and above biological filters etc.

It is compact, efficient and unlike brushes or foam is very simple and quick to clean. Just lift out the sieve, brush or hose off and replace. Ideal for all pump fed systems with no electric costs unlike some other pre-filter systems.

The stainless steel sieve is 24.5cm wide, 40cm long, and has slots of 250 micron enabling the removal of the smallest particles. The sieve consists of hundreds of razor sharp stainless steel profile wires (safe to touch) with very small slot openings so water passes through but solids stay on the sieve, build up and roll to the bottom.

Max flow rate is 2000 gallons p/h.
Outlet and overflow are 75mm push fittings.
Inlet via included stepped hose connector takes 1",1.25" and 1.5" flexi pipe.
